MM Events Group aims to provide the shopping public with options to choose from a range of quality foods, crafts and unique and hard-to-come-by goods which are rarely found in High Street shops.
Each week from March to Christmas our touring market of top class traders visits a different town or city in the UK to set up in a pedestrian precinct or market square.
Foods, crafts and unusual goods to delight in – from around the world
Typical stalls sell products including fresh foods and produce from across the UK, Europe and the world, fine crafts from Europe, the Middle East, Asia and South America and an ever-changing unusual and interesting gifts from across the globe. We select from 200 stalls each week to create a market which typically contains only 20 stalls, each selling different products so you are always assured of the highest quality and the widest possible choice.
Our hot food and street-food traders use the finest ingredients to prepare authentic dishes genuine to their origins: spicy curries from the Subcontinent and South East Asia are almost always on the menu whilst Europe is always generously represented with paella from Spain, Wurst (sausages) and other cured meats on the swing grill from Germany. For those with a sweeter tooth we bring delicious patisserie from France and biscuits and nougat from Italy along with a number of other delicatessen foods. Our market was described by one commentator as “a glorious epicurean delight – a genuine movable feast”.
We maintain the highest standards on all our markets so food traders comply with all UK food hygiene requirements and their ratings – the so-called “scores on the doors” are prominently displayed. Our non-food traders sell goods which delight, but also which comply with all UK safety standards.
